Auto-Mate Moments is a text message list you join yourself by texting JOIN from your own phone. This page says what we keep, for how long, and how to have it removed.
What we store
- Phone numbers: yours, and the list owner's.
- Messages: the updates an owner sends and any reply you send back, so they can be delivered.
- Consent records: the date and time you texted to join or to stop (for example JOIN or STOP), with your phone number, as the record that you asked for messages or asked them to end.
- Delivery status: what the carrier reports about each message (delivered, failed, blocked), with no content.
We collect nothing else: no names unless you send one, no location, no contacts, no cookies and no analytics. This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties.
Why we store it
Only to run the list: to deliver updates to the people who asked for them, to pass a reply to the list owner, to honour STOP, and to keep a record of consent as the carriers require.
How long we keep it
- The inbound message log (every text received by the number) is kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Consent records (the dates you opted in or out, and the phone number) are kept as a legal record.
- Everything else about a list — its updates, subscriptions, replies and delivery status — is deleted within 30 days after 12 months from the list's due date. The list's owners are warned 7 days before.
- Numbers that texted STOP stay on the opt-out list for as long as the number is in service, so they are never texted again.
No sale, no sharing
We do not sell, rent or share phone numbers or messages with anyone. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only other party that handles your number is the messaging provider that carries the texts, and it does so solely to deliver them. Replies you send are shown to the list owner only.
Deletion on request
- Text STOP to the number to stop messages. You are removed immediately and receive one confirmation text; nothing more is sent to you.
- To have your stored messages and details removed, email help@auto-mate.systems from any address and tell us the number. We confirm by email when it is done. The consent record (the dates you opted in or out, and the phone number) is retained, and the number stays on the opt-out list so it is never texted again. Your own texts in the inbound message log expire on their own after 90 days.
